Outdoor furnishings in Marrakech: creating shade, comfort... and value for use
In Marrakech, gardens, terraces and patios are real rooms to live in. Well designed, they improve thermal comfort (shading, evapotranspiration), promote well-being and sociality, and limit the local heat island effect. Numerous scientific reviews confirm the refreshing role of green spaces, especially in warm and arid climates. Designing an exterior in the long term involves: shadow management (pergolas, canvases, trellis), adapted plants (low water consumption), resistant and low absorbent coatings, functional lighting and atmosphere, water management (efficient watering, recovery). Technical solutions (goodly designed low-pressure burners, clear materials, vegetated roofs) can enhance the refreshing effect. Beyond comfort, the health benefits of green spaces (stress, physical activity) are extensively documented. SECOND WORK designs and implements complete exterior fittings, from 3D plan to delivery, with programmed maintenance.
